In the 18th match minute, Hyltebruk FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Arhenius to maneuver through the defense. Gustaf Sundberg scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anders Apelquist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th minute, Frans Säfström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 played minutes Torbjörn Arhenius rounded FC Saltagic's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Torbjörn Arhenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Billy Hegg came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Hyltebruk FF's Daniel Björk. But to his dismay, Daniel Björk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Björk to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Arhenius in the 52nd minute of play forced FC Saltagic's goalkeeper Billy Hegg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viktor Stenkvist got free with Anders Apelquist in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anders Apelquist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaf Sundberg in the 56th minute. Anders Apelquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakob Boklund in the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th match minute, FC Saltagic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaf Sundberg to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Viktor Stenkvist could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Anders Apelquist however easily saved by the left post. After 74 played minutes FC Saltagic got a freekick which was hit by Elliot Svartengren. After a defensive mix-up in FC Saltagic's zone, Torbjörn Arhenius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Billy Hegg came out of the goal and Torbjörn Arhenius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Hyltebruk FF's Anders Apelquist got control of the ball when Viktor Stenkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th match minute, Hyltebruk FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Arhenius to maneuver through the defense. Anders Apelquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Boklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Walter Törnblom made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Hyltebruk FF's Mårten Johnsson.
