The audience was convinced that Jörn Hermansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Örn was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 14th minute Albin Gerdberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Örn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Emanuel Örn managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Teckomatorp RK's Bo-Erik Carlsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 15 minutes, Viktor Eliasson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AIK and the Teckomatorp RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bo-Erik Carlsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuel Örn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bo-Erik Carlsson ran back to his position shaking his head. 18 minutes into the match, Teckomatorp RK's Bo-Erik Carlsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuel Örn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jörn Hermansson in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Örn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bo-Erik Carlsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Emanuel Örn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, AIK's Emanuel Örn got control of the ball when Bo-Erik Carlsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute of the match Teckomatorp RK got a corner. AIK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bo-Erik Carlsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 27th minute Ronaldo Insigne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agne Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agne Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Ek in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by AIK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bo-Erik Carlsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Teckomatorp RK's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Teckomatorp RK's corner Bo-Erik Carlsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emanuel Örn quite easily take care of the ball. With an all-out effort, Teckomatorp RK's Emanuel Örn threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jörn Hermansson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Agne Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Eriksson in the 34th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Erik Ek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agne Eklund was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 47th match minute, Teckomatorp RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixten Cane to maneuver through the defense. After the first half AIK were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jörn Hermansson was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Teckomatorp RK getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Håkan Brask hit a great ball. Agne Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Insigne in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, AIK's Johan Eriksson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Agne Eklund. Agne Eklund yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Agne Eklund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldo Insigne's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Agne Eklund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronaldo Insigne in the 68th minute. Håkan Brask charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Håkan Brask the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Håkan Brask hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 70 minutes into the game, when Sixten Cane put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Teckomatorp RK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AIK:s goal. Teckomatorp RK's Agne Eklund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Teckomatorp RK from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute, AIK's Ronaldo Insigne dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. In the 78th minute, Erik Ek fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Teckomatorp RK's Agne Eklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Eriksson in the 78th minute of play. Agne Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Insigne in the 83rd minute of the match. Agne Eklund made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Viktor Eliasson sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörn Hermansson in the 93rd minute of play forced AIK's goalkeeper Emanuel Örn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Teckomatorp RK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AIK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
