Tommy Rudkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Apelquist having to interfere. Hyltebruk FF's Anders Apelquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Kolberg in the 23rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Tommy Rudkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommy Rudkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anders Apelquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oskar Kolberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anders Apelquist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 94th minute Tommy Rudkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Apelquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alco FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
