George Qvalfeldt came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by IFE ELFSBORG's Torbjörn Billvall. But to his dismay, Torbjörn Billvall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gabriel Valrot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rasmus Runeberg went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Robin Haglund was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 11th minute. IFE ELFSBORG's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of IFE ELFSBORG booed when Ås was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Bäckman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th match minute, IFE ELFSBORG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Risto Lipping to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute Hampus Apelquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Valrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hampus Apelquist struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Gabriel Valrot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ås. After 24 played minutes IFE ELFSBORG got a freekick which was hit by Nicklas Malmberg. Gabriel Valrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hampus Apelquist in the 25th minute of the match. George Qvalfeldt was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Alberto Pimenta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alberto Pimenta really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Gabriel Valrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hampus Apelquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Kent Christoffersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Roger Vesterberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Ås getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Karl-Erik Wennerberg hit a great ball. A hard shot 43 in the game by Nicklas Malmberg from a close distance when the talented George Qvalfeldt managed to make a qualified save. Ås's players were relieved. If Lucas Berggren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The supporters of IFE ELFSBORG booed when Ås was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hampus Apelquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 52 minutes into the game, IFE ELFSBORG's Torbjörn Billvall nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. George Qvalfeldt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hampus Apelquist in the 55th minute of play forced IFE ELFSBORG's goalkeeper Gabriel Valrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Lööf charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Lööf the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tomas Lööf hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, IFE ELFSBORG's Risto Lipping got a free kick in the 61st minute. George Qvalfeldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Billvall in the 65th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roger Vesterberg got free with Gabriel Valrot in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rasmus Runeberg in the 82nd minute of play forced IFE ELFSBORG's goalkeeper Gabriel Valrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lucas Berggren fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IFE ELFSBORG's protests and gave Lucas Berggren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute, Lucas Berggren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute Ås were awarded a corner. Niklas Kielberg went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Ås booed when IFE ELFSBORG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Berggren didn't get a good kick on the ball. George Qvalfeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Berggren in the 89th minute of play. IFE ELFSBORG's Gabriel Valrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hampus Apelquist in the 92nd minute of play. Gabriel Valrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hampus Apelquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. IFE ELFSBORG had won after a very even match.
