With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petter Falck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Petter Falck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Andreasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Niklas Åhman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Petter Falck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Hertha Göteborg's zone, Rasmus Berglund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petter Falck came out of the goal and Rasmus Berglund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Niklas Åhman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grimslöv's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niklas Åhman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Grimslöv were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvar Jönsson made a kick off. Alvar Jönsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tony Bolin charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tony Bolin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Petter Falck. Hertha Göteborg's Petter Falck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Hertha Göteborg from getting a goal against them. If Rasmus Berglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
