With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luan Moreira in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Staffan Eklund saved FC Loosers from getting behind. Lunds SK's Telo Paro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Lunds SK from getting a goal against them. Telo Paro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berthold Uskov in the 39th minute of play. Håkan Kämpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Lunds SK booed when FC Loosers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Strömberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute Anders Adelsköld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staffan Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanek Karp in the 45th minute of play forced Lunds SK's goalkeeper Telo Paro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Rutger Nordström had a good opportunity to score a goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went on the wrong side of the left post. Telo Paro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berthold Uskov in the 80th minute of play. FC Loosers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Strömberg in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute FC Loosers were awarded a corner. Frank Strömberg went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to FC Loosers's David Frisk getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The audience was convinced that Håkan Kämpe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Telo Paro was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. A collision led to Lunds SK getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Kristian Klack hit a great ball. In the 86th minute of the match Frank Strömberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Telo Paro skillfully saved the ball. Roy Ekrot's late challenge caught a Lunds SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roy Ekrot helped the player get up and apologised. Lunds SK's Thomas Åhman was substituted for Luan Moreira. Roy Ekrot kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match.
