Knut Bengtsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Ekström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Knut Bengtsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maarten Mur in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Mockfjärd were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute of the match, Sonny Larsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Knut Bengtsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nils-Åke Hedvall took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Knut Bengtsson. Knut Bengtsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mockfjärd. After 71 played minutes Tåstorp FK got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Rudkvist. In the 74th minute Bo Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Knut Bengtsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Åke Hedvall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Knut Bengtsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Maarten Mur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 played minutes Tåstorp FK got a freekick which was hit by Kåre Ståhlman. 84 minutes into the match, Sonny Larsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Knut Bengtsson, 0-11. When Bo Ekström came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Mockfjärd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bo Ekström couldn't finish the play. Knut Bengtsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sonny Larsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Tåstorp FK's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Åke Hedvall came free, but Knut Bengtsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Knut Bengtsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nils-Åke Hedvall in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute of the match, Nils-Åke Hedvall tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Knut Bengtsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mockfjärd's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
