The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Knut Bengtsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Adelsköld in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Luan Moreira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Knut Bengtsson, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcolm Erserman in the 8th minute of play forced Tåstorp FK's goalkeeper Knut Bengtsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Knut Bengtsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Malcolm Erserman went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Tåstorp FK getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Kåre Ståhlman hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luan Moreira in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Knut Bengtsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Tåstorp FK's zone, Luan Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Knut Bengtsson came out of the goal and Luan Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Knut Bengtsson was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Malcolm Erserman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Malcolm Erserman really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Luan Moreiras short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Knut Bengtsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Tåstorp FK defense, Luan Moreira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Knut Bengtsson. The Tåstorp FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Knut Bengtsson should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute Kurt Rudkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telo Paro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luan Moreira succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 6-0 in the 44th playminute. Knut Bengtsson made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Staffan Vallengren sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luan Moreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luan Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Knut Bengtsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luan Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Lunds SK's Anders Adelsköld in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Lunds SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Lunds SK made a substitution. Karl Collin replaced Malcolm Erserman. Knut Bengtsson came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Lunds SK's Luan Moreira. But to his dismay, Luan Moreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. In the 81st minute Hans Holmberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Knut Bengtsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Knut Bengtsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Adelsköld in the 82nd minute of play. Knut Bengtsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luan Moreira in the 83rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luan Moreira in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Knut Bengtsson saved Tåstorp FK from getting behind. The supporters of Lunds SK booed when Tåstorp FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Rudkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Tåstorp FK's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Adelsköld came free, but Knut Bengtsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Lunds SK were the better team. Lunds SK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
