Gheorghe Muntian might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Skënder Salihaj. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gheorghe Muntian ran back to his position shaking his head. Skënder Salihaj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Muntian in the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Kälvesta IOF's goal looked a bit too open when Kubat Mücahit came free, but Hugo Sikström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alf Henriksson hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. When Wilhelm Lundqvist fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hjortsberga FK's protests and gave Wilhelm Lundqvist a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kälvesta IOF booed when Hjortsberga FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilhelm Lundqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kälvesta IOF's Tommy Malm got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Jakab Boross got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Lionel-Andrés Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Skënder Salihaj came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Kälvesta IOF's Gheorghe Muntian. But to his dismay, Gheorghe Muntian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 21st minute Gheorghe Muntian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Skënder Salihaj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes Hjortsberga FK got a freekick which was hit by Malcolm Eckegren. Zsolt Várdai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Skënder Salihaj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Skënder Salihaj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gheorghe Muntian in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gheorghe Muntian in the 32nd minute of play forced Hjortsberga FK's goalkeeper Skënder Salihaj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute Morgan Österberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Sikström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Skënder Salihaj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gheorghe Muntian in the 36th minute of play. Skënder Salihaj came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Kälvesta IOF's Gheorghe Muntian. But to his dismay, Gheorghe Muntian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Tommy Malm kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Alf Henriksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hjortsberga FK's Skënder Salihaj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gheorghe Muntian in the 45th minute of play. When Kälvesta IOF's Gheorghe Muntian in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hjortsberga FK's goalie prevented a goal. The Hjortsberga FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kälvesta IOF were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Jakab Boross made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Lionel-Andrés Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Skënder Salihaj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Skënder Salihaj stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gheorghe Muntian's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gheorghe Muntian got free with Skënder Salihaj in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 75 minutes, Malcolm Eckegren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hjortsberga FK and the Kälvesta IOF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hjortsberga FK's Malcolm Eckegren got a free kick in the 75th minute. Hjortsberga FK made a substitution. Joar Johnsson replaced Alf Henriksson. After 77 played minutes Hjortsberga FK got a freekick which was hit by Malcolm Eckegren. Kälvesta IOF's Gheorghe Muntian got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Skënder Salihaj was a little too slow when Zsolt Várdai got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-3. Gheorghe Muntian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st play minute Gheorghe Muntian came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Skënder Salihaj. 0-4. Kälvesta IOF's Gottfrid Bern got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kälvesta IOF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
