Per Stenkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lionel-Andrés Messias went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Joakim Tholsson struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Hugo Sikström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gammalkils IF. In the 18thth minute of the game Gheorghe Muntian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gammalkils IF's Per Stenkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Per Stenkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel-Andrés Messias in the 20th minute of play. Gammalkils IF's Per Stenkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gheorghe Muntian in the 22nd minute of play. Per Stenkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lionel-Andrés Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Kälvesta IOF booed when Gammalkils IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joakim Tholsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Lionel-Andrés Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zsolt Várdai in the 31st minute of play forced Gammalkils IF's goalkeeper Per Stenkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Lionel-Andrés Messias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per Stenkvist was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Per Stenkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zsolt Várdai in the 34th minute of the match. Lionel-Andrés Messias scored 0-4 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Per Stenkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Erland Stensson charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erland Stensson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ronny Rau took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Per Stenkvist. Per Stenkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Per Stenkvist successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Zsolt Várdai took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Per Stenkvist to make any attempt to save it. After 72 minutes, Gheorghe Muntian made it 0-11 with a short kick to the right side. Gammalkils IF's Per Stenkvist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kälvesta IOF made a substitution. Klas Samuelsson replaced Gheorghe Muntian. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Per Stenkvist successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 82 minutes into the match, Ronny Rau notched a goal, 0-12, to the right of Gammalkils IF's Per Stenkvist. Per Stenkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Kälvesta IOF's Zsolt Várdai in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Kälvesta IOF played a much better game than Gammalkils IF and deserved their victory. The Gammalkils IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
