Tony Löfgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Tony Löfgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Muntian, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Tony Löfgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lionel-Andrés Messias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gheorghe Muntian in the 20th minute of play forced Snavlunda Lightnings's goalkeeper Tony Löfgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Gheorghe Muntian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tony Löfgren was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 25th minute of the match Fredrik Wennerquist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tony Löfgren skillfully saved the ball. Tony Löfgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. In the 45th minute Gheorghe Muntian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Löfgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lionel-Andrés Messias scored 0-7 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tony Löfgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Kälvesta IOF were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lionel-Andrés Messias to strike the kick off in the second half. Lionel-Andrés Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Löfgren having to interfere. Gustaf Pålsson charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a little luck, Snavlunda Lightnings's Tony Löfgren got control of the ball when Zsolt Várdai tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Kälvesta IOF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Snavlunda Lightnings.
