The audience thought a goal was coming when Fred Lidman got free with Jens-Ove Gallberg in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kurdistan CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexander Hultstrand was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Edwin Björk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute of the match Henrik Giliusson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erland Spetz skillfully saved the ball. Alexander Hultstrand struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Erland Spetz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Festis BK. 35 minutes into the match, Festis BK's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Lidman came free, but Jens-Ove Gallberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexander Hultstrand in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erland Spetz saved Kurdistan CF from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Alexander Hultstrand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erland Spetz was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. In the 46thth minute of the game Alexander Hultstrand who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kurdistan CF's Erland Spetz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Kurdistan CF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Festis BK were winning 0-1.

Erland Spetz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sture Dahlberg went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Jens-Ove Gallberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Lidman, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Alexander Hultstrand's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Erland Spetz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 79 played minutes Festis BK got a freekick which was hit by Håkan Mild. Festis BK's Jens-Ove Gallberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Einar Olofsson in the 80th minute of play. Jens-Ove Gallberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Lidman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexander Hultstrand in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Erland Spetz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Festis BK's goalkeeper Jens-Ove Gallberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erland Spetz stood somewhat misplaced when Alexander Hultstrand came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 90 minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Festis BK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
