A collision led to Hooden Hotspurs BK getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Hans Gadd hit a great ball. Gösta Lindström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Holmgren in the 10th minute of play. Gösta Lindström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Holmgren in the 16th minute of the match. Gösta Lindström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Gadd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Kjell Caspersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gösta Lindström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calle Holmgren hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Eskil Klint hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Hans Gadd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gösta Lindström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emil Holmgren's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Gothia AIS's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Caspersson came free, but Gösta Lindström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emil Holmgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Gösta Lindström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Alström kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Emil Holmgren put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gösta Lindström. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Emil Holmgren made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Mellin in the 52nd minute of play forced Hooden Hotspurs BK's goalkeeper Arman Hernström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Vesterberg got free with Gösta Lindström in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute of the match, Emil Holmgren got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gösta Lindström was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Emil Holmgrens short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Gösta Lindström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Emil Holmgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Gösta Lindström made a huge save. After 61 minutes, Eskil Klint mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gothia AIS and the Hooden Hotspurs BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eskil Klint kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gothia AIS's zone, Hans Gadd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gösta Lindström came out of the goal and Hans Gadd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arman Hernström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivar Mellin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Gothia AIS's Ivar Mellin got a free kick in the 67th minute. A hard shot 69 in the game by Emil Holmgren from a close distance when the talented Gösta Lindström managed to make a qualified save. Gothia AIS's players were relieved. Gösta Lindström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emil Holmgren went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Gösta Lindström made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Kjell Caspersson sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 80 in the game by Emil Holmgren from a close distance when the talented Gösta Lindström managed to make a qualified save. Gothia AIS's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Adam Vesterberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hooden Hotspurs BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Vesterberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gösta Lindström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 94 minutes of play Gothia AIS's Eskil Klint was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground.
