Spectators: 7673 (Terracing: 5755, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 153) Kurdistan CF's Alf Skräddare started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Robert Alström had several of the Kurdistan CF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 4 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Erland Spetz as he didn't even see the shot coming. 8 minutes into the match, Kurdistan CF's Marcus Fogel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gösta Lindström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erland Spetz was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Ivar Mellin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ivar Mellin really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Gothia AIS's Gösta Lindström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Skräddare in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Alf Skräddare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Gothia AIS booed when Kurdistan CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Fogel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gothia AIS's Ivar Mellin got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18thth minute of the game Frans Aleberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gothia AIS's Gösta Lindström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Xalbador Sparke's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gösta Lindström was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. When Kurdistan CF's Xalbador Sparke in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gösta Lindström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Erland Spetz made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Ivar Mellin sent off a good shot on target. The Kurdistan CF fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Kurdistan CF's Xalbador Sparke looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Frans Aleberg kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Skräddare in the 42nd minute of play forced Gothia AIS's goalkeeper Gösta Lindström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Alström in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erland Spetz prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The wind increased when Robert Alström made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Gothia AIS's Gösta Lindström got control of the ball when Frans Aleberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edward Eriksson in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gösta Lindström saved Gothia AIS from getting behind. Erland Spetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Forsman in the 57th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Edward Eriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edward Eriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gösta Lindström having to interfere. Gösta Lindström made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Edward Eriksson sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute, Karl-Ove Sandström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcus Fogel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gösta Lindström came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcus Fogel slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 78th minute. When Jimmy Wallengren fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gothia AIS's protests and gave Jimmy Wallengren a yellow card for diving instead. Jimmy Wallengren kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. When Einar Olofsson came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Kurdistan CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Einar Olofsson couldn't finish the play. The long shot by Marcus Gunnarsson in the 87th minute really tested Gösta Lindström's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Edward Eriksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Gösta Lindström made a huge save. With a little luck, Gothia AIS's Gösta Lindström got control of the ball when Edward Eriksson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edward Eriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gösta Lindström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
