Thijs Thys took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jesper Axelsson. Jesper Axelsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jesper Axelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thijs Thys, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thijs Thys in the 22nd minute of play forced Hillared's goalkeeper Jesper Axelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ruda if's Thijs Thys in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hillared's goalie prevented a goal. Michel Finman made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Wictor Bergkvist sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thijs Thys in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesper Axelsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ruda if's Ove Hellqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thijs Thys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesper Axelsson having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Ruda if's Ove Hellqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jesper Axelsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After some careless play in the Hillared defense, Thijs Thys kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jesper Axelsson. The Hillared fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesper Axelsson should have stopped the shot. In the 44thth minute of the game Ove Hellqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hillared's Jesper Axelsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Ruda if's Ove Hellqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jesper Axelsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. John Säfström was the one to do the kick off. Thijs Thys kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. When Jack Alström fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hillared's protests and gave Jack Alström a yellow card for diving instead. Jack Alström hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Elia Santoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruda if's Staffan Arvidsson pulled a muscle in his back after 54 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 56th minute, Gustaf Nyberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Ove Hellqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ruda if's supporters rose to their feet, but Ove Hellqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesper Axelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ove Hellqvist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Jesper Axelsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 62nd minute, Hillared's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ove Hellqvist fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 73rd minute, Thijs Thys fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jesper Axelsson, passed just outside the right post. If Thijs Thys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ove Hellqvist let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 77th minute shot 0-9 at rihgt post. Wictor Bergkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Michel Finman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nils Vall was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 86 minutes into the match. Jesper Axelsson had in the 88thth minute some difficulties stopping Walter Mickelsson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 91 minutes of play, Ruda if's Ove Hellqvist made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jesper Axelsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Jesper Axelsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Hillared defense, Ove Hellqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jesper Axelsson. The Hillared fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesper Axelsson should have stopped the shot. The Ruda if supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ruda if would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
