The supporters of Hooden Hotspurs BK booed when Liden FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gottfrid Jansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yngve Bäckström acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 19th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hans Gadd. Emil Holmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yngve Bäckström having to interfere. Liden FF's Yngve Bäckström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Liden FF from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute, Emil Holmgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Marcu Vlas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liden FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcu Vlas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arman Hernström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute of the match Lennart Västlund shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yngve Bäckström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Roger Isaksson had several of the Liden FF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 42 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 6-0 score and a disappointed Yngve Bäckström as he didn't even see the shot coming. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emil Holmgren to strike the kick off in the second half. Hooden Hotspurs BK's Emil Holmgren got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arman Hernström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gottfrid Jansson in the 54th minute of the match. If Emil Holmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emil Holmgren in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yngve Bäckström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arman Hernström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcu Vlas in the 70th minute. Kjell Caspersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Yngve Bäckström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Emil Holmgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yngve Bäckström was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Roger Isaksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yngve Bäckström having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Hooden Hotspurs BK's Roger Isaksson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yngve Bäckström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Arman Hernström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gottfrid Jansson in the 87th minute of play. Kjell Caspersson struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Yngve Bäckström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hooden Hotspurs BK. In the 93rd match minute, Liden FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaj Hellsing to maneuver through the defense. Roger Isaksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yngve Bäckström having to interfere.
