An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomasz Czajka in the 21st minute of play forced Surgeons United's goalkeeper Eddie Gallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Surgeons United's Eddie Gallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Åke Asserlind in the 25th minute of play. After 25 played minutes Surgeons United got a freekick which was hit by Nils Fagerberg. 26 minutes into the match, Surgeons United's goal looked a bit too open when Tomasz Czajka came free, but Eddie Gallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel Kinell made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Rikard Berggren sent off a good shot on target. In the 31stth minute of the game Rikard Berggren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nykvarn's Michel Kinell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eddie Gallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harald Specht in the 33rd minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Surgeons United's goal looked a bit too open when Tomasz Czajka came free, but Eddie Gallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Nykvarn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melker Runberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The Surgeons United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nykvarn had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
