After 10 minutes of play, Medelpad U21's Rutger Beneth made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl-Michael Granberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Medelpad U21's Rutger Beneth slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Karl-Michael Granberg. That made the score 3-0 after 13 minutes of play. Quico Head received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Karl-Michael Granberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Quico Head slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 18th minute. Quico Head's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Michael Granberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Quico Head's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Karl-Michael Granberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hector Casse didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniele Piccoli went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. 28 minutes into the match, Medelpad U21's goal looked a bit too open when Daniele Piccoli came free, but Hector Casse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Casse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Grubb, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Karl-Michael Granberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rutger Beneth in the 35th minute of the match. If Julian Kisiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Troja's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Quico Head scored to the left of an out of position Karl-Michael Granberg, making the score, 5-1. Karl-Michael Granberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rutger Beneth, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

When Rutger Beneth came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Medelpad U21 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rutger Beneth couldn't finish the play. Hector Casse made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Daniele Piccoli sent off a good shot on target. Medelpad U21's Quico Head got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl-Michael Granberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quico Head, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Rutger Beneth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Michael Granberg was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. If Julian Kisiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Torgny Lang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Medelpad U21's supporters rose to their feet, but Quico Head was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Michael Granberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 89 minutes, Erland Mellin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Troja and the Medelpad U21 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erland Mellin hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. When Medelpad U21's Rutger Beneth in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Troja's goalie prevented a goal. Karl-Michael Granberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quico Head in the 94th minute of play. Medelpad U21 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Troja for a fine match.
