The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes The Rats got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Hamberg. Tord Samuelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morgan Kilberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Morgan Kilberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Tord Samuelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tord Samuelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Grifoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the match, The Rats's goal looked a bit too open when Cosimo Grifoni came free, but Tord Samuelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torgny Lidberg kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as The Rats's José Carlos White slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aleksander Engström. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. After 22 played minutes The Rats got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Hamberg. The audience was convinced that Morgan Kilberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tord Samuelsson was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. José Carlos White could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Aleksander Engström made a huge save. A collision led to The Rats getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Per-Olof Lind hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, The Rats's Claes Strand got a free kick in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Modig in the 36th minute of play forced The Rats's goalkeeper Tord Samuelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claes Strand hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 41 minutes, Nils-Åke Hamberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Rats and the Metalducks players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st minute, Nils-Åke Hamberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Carlos White's late challenge caught a Metalducks's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Carlos White helped the player get up and apologised. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Carlos White to make the kick off. José Carlos White took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aleksander Engström. Aleksander Engström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Evren Düden lost his temper 54 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Evren Düden hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Metalducks's Aleksander Engström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 狄凡杰 in the 56th minute of play. Cosimo Grifoni might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tord Samuelsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cosimo Grifoni ran back to his position shaking his head. After 65 played minutes Metalducks got a freekick which was hit by Michael Lidström. 67 minutes into the game, Cosimo Grifoni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Tord Samuelsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 71 minutes into the match, Metalducks's goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Avila came free, but Aleksander Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Rats's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 狄凡杰 in the 72nd minute. The corner ended in 狄凡杰 almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Metalducks's Aleksander Engström did a great save. Thor Söder made in the 74th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Anthony Avila. The supporters of The Rats booed when Metalducks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torgny Lidberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cosimo Grifoni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Tord Samuelsson made a huge save. Aleksander Engström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Åke Hamberg in the 84th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Metalducks defense, Anthony Avila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aleksander Engström. The Metalducks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aleksander Engström should have stopped the shot. A throw-in in the 97th minute of the game was made by Thor Söder with Anthony Avila as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When the referee ended the match the The Rats players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
