Spectators: 7845 (Terracing: 5885, Seating: 1804, VIP seats: 156) The supporters of Medelpad U21 booed when The Rats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Olof Lind didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, The Rats's Tord Samuelsson got control of the ball when Quico Head tried to sneak it across the goal line. Quico Head fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tord Samuelsson having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Julian Kisiel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tord Samuelsson. Julian Kisiel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Medelpad U21's zone, Per-Olof Lind stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Casse came out of the goal and Per-Olof Lind tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 26 minutes into the match, The Rats's goal looked a bit too open when Rutger Beneth came free, but Tord Samuelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rutger Beneth took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tord Samuelsson. Tord Samuelsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 34th minute, Rutger Beneth ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tord Samuelsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Quico Head put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tord Samuelsson. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Nils-Åke Hamberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Rats's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils-Åke Hamberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Casse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rutger Beneth stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tord Samuelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quico Head, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Medelpad U21's Hector Casse got control of the ball when Nils-Åke Hamberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tord Samuelsson came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Medelpad U21's Quico Head. But to his dismay, Quico Head quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Tord Samuelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quico Head, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 71st minute, Rutger Beneth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Medelpad U21 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 80th minute Rutger Beneth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tord Samuelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the The Rats defense, Rutger Beneth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tord Samuelsson. The The Rats fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tord Samuelsson should have stopped the shot. After 86 played minutes The Rats got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Hamberg. Tord Samuelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rutger Beneth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 played minutes, Medelpad U21's Norbert Puzio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tord Samuelsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Medelpad U21 reached it. Tord Samuelsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rutger Beneth went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score.
