Spectators: 7703 (Terracing: 5779, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) Hammarby's Erling Öman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Hammarby's goalkeeper Robert Tinglöf had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henning Lingren. The audience thought a goal was coming when Örjan Levander got free with Robert Tinglöf in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the match, Hammarby's goal looked a bit too open when Henning Lingren came free, but Robert Tinglöf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Tinglöf made an important save on a dangerous shot by Örjan Levander in the 12th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Stennäs FF's Håkan Björklund slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Robert Tinglöf. That made the score 2-0 after 19 minutes of play. 23 minutes into the match, Håkan Björklund notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Hammarby's Robert Tinglöf. Robert Tinglöf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 26th match minute, Hammarby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erling Öman to maneuver through the defense. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hammarby! 34 minutes into the match, Örjan Levander notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Hammarby's Robert Tinglöf. Robert Tinglöf was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Robert Tinglöf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andréas Rudberg in the 38th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Arman Sandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Tinglöf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Tinglöf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Björklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. With a little luck, Hammarby's Robert Tinglöf got control of the ball when Örjan Levander tried to sneak it across the goal line. Örjan Levander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robert Tinglöf having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Örjan Levander might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robert Tinglöf. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Örjan Levander ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th match minute, Stennäs FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henning Lingren to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Hammarby booed when Stennäs FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henning Lingren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Tinglöf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Örjan Levander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Tinglöf came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Stennäs FF's Örjan Levander. But to his dismay, Örjan Levander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 75th minute Håkan Björklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Tinglöf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henning Lingren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Håkan Björklund sped through Hammarby's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Robert Tinglöf. Stennäs FF made a substitution. Stefan Nordgren replaced Andréas Rudberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Örjan Levander in the 96th minute of play forced Hammarby's goalkeeper Robert Tinglöf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Stennäs FF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
