Nichifor Bâlea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hampus Jonasson in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute Marcus Rolandsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Rolandsson took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eddie Hellström. Eddie Hellström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Eddie Hellström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Larsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eddie Hellström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Larsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. A collision led to Black Panthers getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Oliver Hedkvist hit a great ball. IK Zenith's Nichifor Bâlea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hampus Jonasson in the 28th minute of play. Thomas Utter made in the 32nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fabian Larsson immediately put the ball in play. 33 minutes into the match, IK Zenith's goalkeeper Nichifor Bâlea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hampus Jonasson. Eddie Hellström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Ahlbeck in the 39th minute of play. IK Zenith's Adam Lundgren was substituted for Mario Panák. In the 41st minute, Tobias Back hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, IK Zenith's Viliam Rák got a free kick in the 46th minute. Black Panthers's Per Åkerström got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Per Åkerström made the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Thomas Utter in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Black Panthers's Josef Ström. With a little luck, Black Panthers's Eddie Hellström got control of the ball when Pål Kjellberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Black Panthers's Eddie Hellström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Black Panthers from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Ahlbeck in the 71st minute of play forced Black Panthers's goalkeeper Eddie Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Magnus Sundström's late challenge caught a IK Zenith's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Magnus Sundström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Black Panthers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Magnus Sundström to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute Pelle Bollström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eddie Hellström guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. IK Zenith's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
