Jan Gomola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alwin Spaan in the 4th minute of play. After some careless play in the GV 1980 Hedslund defense, Johan Västberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Gomola. The GV 1980 Hedslund fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Gomola should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute, Elliot Månsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulf Bratt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Emil Nässén in the 16th minute of play. Ulf Bratt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enio Silva in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of Lindesborg Bk booed when GV 1980 Hedslund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörn Kämpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Jörn Kämpe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ulf Bratt. Jörn Kämpe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. When Enio Silva came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the GV 1980 Hedslund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enio Silva couldn't finish the play. Ulf Bratt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörn Kämpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulf Bratt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enio Silva in the 28th minute. With a little luck, Lindesborg Bk's Ulf Bratt got control of the ball when Nils-Emil Nässén tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ulf Bratt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Emil Nässén in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match, Nils-Emil Nässén tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ulf Bratt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 37 minutes into the match, GV 1980 Hedslund's Nils-Emil Nässén sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulf Bratt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Michal Revesz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan Gomola having to make a save. A collision led to GV 1980 Hedslund getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Elliot Månsson hit a great ball. If Michal Revesz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nils-Emil Nässén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Johan Västberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 60thth minute of the game Alwin Spaan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GV 1980 Hedslund's Jan Gomola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 61 played minutes GV 1980 Hedslund got a freekick which was hit by Jörn Kämpe. Jan Gomola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alwin Spaan in the 63rd minute of the match. Per-Olof Qvarnström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jan Gomola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lindesborg Bk's Toivo Kääramees got a free kick in the 66th minute. GV 1980 Hedslund's Jan Gomola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save GV 1980 Hedslund from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute Jörn Kämpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulf Bratt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michal Revesz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Gomola having to interfere. Rolf Bengtsson hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Ulf Bratt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Emil Nässén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulf Bratt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Emil Nässén, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Michal Revesz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Gomola having to interfere. In the 87th minute Enio Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulf Bratt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Jan Gomola successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 91st minute of the match Lindesborg Bk got a corner. GV 1980 Hedslund's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Per-Olof Boström ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 94th minute, Ingemar Bergendahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lindesborg Bk's Per-Olof Boström shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 95th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jan Gomola but with some difficulty. Enio Silva walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post.
