In the 7th match minute, Bloodthirsty FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Grönberg to maneuver through the defense. Bloodthirsty FC's Kenneth Biörkquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joar Wallmark in the 11th minute of play. Nils Lidström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Leif Aspengren made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Nils Lidström took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Leif Aspengren to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Skottorp IFK's Leif Aspengren got control of the ball when Svante Petersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Bloodthirsty FC's Svante Petersson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leif Aspengren. That made the score 2-0 after 15 minutes of play. Skottorp IFK's Leif Aspengren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Skottorp IFK from getting a goal against them. Bloodthirsty FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Håkan Viklund in the 27th minute. Bloodthirsty FC's Håkan Viklund was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leif Aspengren in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 32 played minutes Skottorp IFK got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Erik Täman. With a little luck, Skottorp IFK's Leif Aspengren got control of the ball when Nils Lidström tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute, Nils Lidström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Skottorp IFK's Leif Aspengren got control of the ball when Svante Petersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nils Lidström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leif Aspengren came out and tried to block the shot, but Nils Lidström slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 39th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Nils Lidström made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Nils Lidström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Skottorp IFK getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Leonard Figlewski hit a great ball. Håkan Viklund struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Leif Aspengren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bloodthirsty FC. The supporters of Skottorp IFK booed when Bloodthirsty FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svante Petersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60thth minute of the game Nils Lidström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skottorp IFK's Leif Aspengren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute Nils Lidström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Aspengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Joar Wallmark was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skottorp IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bloodthirsty FC the free kick. After having played for 75 minutes, Sakarias Ahlroth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bloodthirsty FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sakarias Ahlroth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joar Wallmark could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Kenneth Biörkquist made a huge save. After 89 played minutes Skottorp IFK got a freekick which was hit by Grzegorz Wiatrak. Leif Aspengren came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Bloodthirsty FC's Dick Forss. But to his dismay, Dick Forss quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0.
