After having played for 8 minutes, Joel Lundgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GV 1980 Hedslund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Lundgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan Gomola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskar Benet in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, GV 1980 Hedslund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Emil Nässén to maneuver through the defense. GV 1980 Hedslund's Jan Gomola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Benet in the 13th minute of play. Oskar Benet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. GV 1980 Hedslund's Jan Gomola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Benet in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Lomma FK's Oskar Benet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan Gomola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Jon Sigman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the game, Jon Sigman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jan Gomola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nils-Emil Nässén to strike the kick off in the second half. Jörn Kämpe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alphonso Davies charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alphonso Davies the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alphonso Davies kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute Oskar Benet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Gomola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Lomma FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Oskar Benet might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan Gomola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oskar Benet ran back to his position shaking his head. Oskar Benet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
