The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lars Lång during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chilenska AIK's Torsten Eliasson got a free kick in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the game, Johan Västberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lennart Borre. Lennart Borre was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Johan Västberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 36 minute of play. Axel Ekdal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Per-Olof Qvarnström made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Chilenska AIK's Torsten Eliasson. Kurt Gallberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ulf Bratt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Vilgot Örtendal scored 6-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lennart Borre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilgot Örtendal in the 70th minute of play forced Chilenska AIK's goalkeeper Lennart Borre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lennart Borre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilgot Örtendal in the 72nd minute of the match. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
