Spectators: 7652 (Terracing: 5741, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nils-Emil Nässén started the match with the kick off. Grzegorz Wiatrak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Skottorp IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Emil Nässén came free, but Leif Aspengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Skottorp IFK's Leif Aspengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Emil Nässén in the 10th minute of play. Skottorp IFK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Nils-Emil Nässén scored to the left of an out of position Leif Aspengren, making the score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, GV 1980 Hedslund's Ernst Vestberg got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 20 played minutes Skottorp IFK got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Ove Fanström. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kristian Dalgren in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Gomola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jörn Kämpe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Leif Aspengren made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kristian Dalgren in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Gomola saved GV 1980 Hedslund from getting behind. The Skottorp IFK fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Skottorp IFK's Kristian Dalgren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kristian Dalgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jan Gomola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jörn Kämpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Sven-Ove Fanström put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Skottorp IFK's Sven-Ove Fanström got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, GV 1980 Hedslund's Ernst Vestberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leif Aspengren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Skottorp IFK's Leif Aspengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Kämpe in the 44th minute of play. The supporters of Skottorp IFK booed when GV 1980 Hedslund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingemar Bergendahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Georg Viberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Gomola having to interfere.

In the 53rd minute, Grzegorz Wiatrak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Gomola was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. If Jörn Kämpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leif Aspengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörn Kämpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Georg Viberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Gomola having to interfere. Leif Aspengren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Emil Nässén in the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Skottorp IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Jörn Kämpe came free, but Leif Aspengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Gomola made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Georg Viberg sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernst Vestberg during the 84th minute.
