A sloppy throw-in by Celedonio Pere in the 4th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bajens Lirare BK's Peder Johnsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Bokelund in the 9th minute of play forced Blågula BollAtleter's goalkeeper Tom Vandendriessche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Roger Grep shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Åström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute Viktor Bokelund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Vandendriessche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Viktor Bokelund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tom Vandendriessche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Bokelund in the 20th minute of the match. Tom Vandendriessche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Emil Pedersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Roger Grep managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blågula BollAtleter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roger Grep was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th match minute, Blågula BollAtleter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Ingvall to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute Viktor Bokelund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Vandendriessche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tom Vandendriessche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Bokelund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bajens Lirare BK's goalkeeper Henning Åström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Roger Grep got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viktor Bokelund might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tom Vandendriessche. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Viktor Bokelund ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Bokelund in the 37th minute of play forced Blågula BollAtleter's goalkeeper Tom Vandendriessche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute of the match, Börge Sellberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Henning Åström was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Celedonio Pere made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Bajens Lirare BK's Jens-Åke Mellin. 43 minutes into the match, Blågula BollAtleter's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Bokelund came free, but Tom Vandendriessche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viktor Bokelund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tom Vandendriessche having to make a save. Blågula BollAtleter's Tom Vandendriessche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Bokelund in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paul Theissen was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Börge Sellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viktor Bokelund's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tom Vandendriessche firmly grabbed it by the left post. Celedonio Pere made in the 54th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Henry Bergkvist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Bergkvist in the 55th minute of play forced Bajens Lirare BK's goalkeeper Henning Åström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Celedonio Pere in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Bajens Lirare BK's Casper Grönberg. Viktor Bokelund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tom Vandendriessche made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viktor Bokelund in the 68th minute. Nils-Emil Pedersson hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute Paul Theissen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Åström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute of the match Blågula BollAtleter got a corner. Bajens Lirare BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Börge Sellberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Henry Bergkvist hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Tom Vandendriessche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Bokelund in the 79th minute of play. With a little luck, Blågula BollAtleter's Tom Vandendriessche got control of the ball when Viktor Bokelund tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Theissen in the 84th minute of play forced Bajens Lirare BK's goalkeeper Henning Åström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils-Emil Pedersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Tom Vandendriessche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blågula BollAtleter's Tom Vandendriessche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Blågula BollAtleter from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Blågula BollAtleter fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bajens Lirare BK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
