Luka Gašpar might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmund Haström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luka Gašpar ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 2nd minute Luka Gašpar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Haström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Southburn City F.C.'s Edmund Haström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Häger in the 4th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Curt Boggs threw the ball into play from the sideline. Die Mannschaft's Ted Pålsson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Luka Gašpar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmund Haström having to make a save. Die Mannschaft's attentive Ted Pålsson managed to snatch the ball when Curt Boggs made a throw-in in the 13th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Osvald Olsmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Verner Målare was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Edmund Haström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Häger in the 21st minute of play. If Henry Häger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 played minutes Southburn City F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Curt Boggs. In the 33rd minute, Henry Häger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Henry Häger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Die Mannschaft's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Häger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmund Haström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Southburn City F.C.'s Verner Målare threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Osvald Olsmann, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Southburn City F.C. were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Die Mannschaft's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ove Lindsten took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Ove Lindsten got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Verner Målare quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Southburn City F.C.'s goalkeeper Edmund Haström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olaf Segarra in the 44th minute of play forced Die Mannschaft's goalkeeper Verner Målare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Verner Målare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olaf Segarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Edmund Haström made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Luka Gašpar sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olaf Segarra in the 52nd minute of play forced Die Mannschaft's goalkeeper Verner Målare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 55th minute of the game was made by Curt Boggs with Olaf Segarra as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 56th minute Luka Gašpar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Haström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Die Mannschaft was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Kihlberg to maneuver through the defense. Verner Målare stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvald Olsmann's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 67th minute of the match Southburn City F.C. got a corner. Die Mannschaft's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ove Lindsten ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Southburn City F.C.'s corner Ove Lindsten fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Verner Målare quite easily take care of the ball. In the 74th minute, Henry Häger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the game, Southburn City F.C.'s Osvald Olsmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Verner Målare made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luka Gašpar got free with Edmund Haström in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edmund Haström made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Luka Gašpar sent off a good shot on target. Josef Ugla kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Southburn City F.C.'s Christian Snäll was substituted for Osvald Olsmann.
