Fritz Högberg made in the 34th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Roger Grep. Niklas Törnblom hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Blågula BollAtleter's Tom Vandendriessche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Linus Stenqvist in the 39th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paul Theissen in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frans Billström saved Tallboda Gunners from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paul Theissen was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Ediberto Senna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blågula BollAtleter's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tallboda Gunners the free kick. The supporters of Tallboda Gunners booed when Blågula BollAtleter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Lang in the 55th minute of play forced Blågula BollAtleter's goalkeeper Tom Vandendriessche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Lang kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Rickard Stålman hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the game, Karl-Erik Ahlbom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tom Vandendriessche was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ediberto Senna got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground.
