The audience thought a goal was coming when Ola Bodin got free with Sten Andreasson in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of The Reds booed when Storlien FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erling Carlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Villiam Sundling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Vogel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bishop Blue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sten Andreasson was a little too slow when Erling Carlsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 34th minute Bishop Blue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Reds's Sten Andreasson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save The Reds from getting a goal against them. If Bertil Groth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Ola Bodin could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Sten Andreasson however easily saved by the left post. Villiam Sundling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Vogel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Fred Isaksson notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Storlien FF's Villiam Sundling. Villiam Sundling was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Bishop Blue made the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Ola Bodin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Reds's Sten Andreasson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bishop Blue in the 52nd minute of play forced The Reds's goalkeeper Sten Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Joel Skräddare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 played minutes Storlien FF got a freekick which was hit by Bishop Blue. 63 minutes into the game, Johnny Lange was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Reds's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Storlien FF the free kick. Michael Bruhn made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by The Reds's Richard Frykberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bishop Blue in the 68th minute of play forced The Reds's goalkeeper Sten Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ola Bodin struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Sten Andreasson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Storlien FF. Villiam Sundling didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolfo Vogel went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When Bertil Groth fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Storlien FF's protests and gave Bertil Groth a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Bertil Groth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Villiam Sundling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Vogel in the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th match minute, The Reds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benny Kvick to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Richard Frykberg from long distance, 89 minutes into the match, got Villiam Sundling's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Storlien FF's Villiam Sundling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Vogel in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute of the game Michael Bruhn made a throw-in which Bertil Groth played forward. Sten Andreasson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
