Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Kaj Ekegren started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. SJÖARED's Adrian Springfält proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save SJÖARED from getting a goal against them. Åke Öman hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Joel Tolsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vilhelm Lidman went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Kent Törnblom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When BK Värdsholmen's Roger Norberg in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SJÖARED's goalie prevented a goal. Kaj Ekegren took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joel Tolsson. Joel Tolsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. BK Värdsholmen's Joel Tolsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaj Ekegren in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vilhelm Lidman in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Tolsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joel Tolsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaj Ekegren in the 27th minute of play. Joel Tolsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helge Gustafsson in the 29th minute of the match. Kent Törnblom hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Adrian Springfält made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Bo-Erik Grelsson sent off a good shot on target. Joel Tolsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaj Ekegren in the 37th minute of play. Peder Gernberg lost his temper 40 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Vilhelm Lidman struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Joel Tolsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SJÖARED. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ola Hansson replaced Tim Hellbom. Joel Tolsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helge Gustafsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Tage Brodin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Helge Gustafsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Tolsson having to interfere. SJÖARED's Isak Qvarnström was substituted for Vilhelm Lidman. 81 minutes into the game, Helge Gustafsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joel Tolsson. Helge Gustafsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. SJÖARED's Urban Rudberg got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isak Qvarnström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Tolsson having to interfere. Isak Qvarnström scored 0-6 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joel Tolsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded SJÖARED left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than BK Värdsholmen.
