Ronny Westerberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 24th minute, Tomas Hedkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronny Westerberg made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Nils-Erik Fagrell sent off a good shot on target. Karl-Åke Sandström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mårten Abrahamsson in the 28th minute of play. In the 34th minute Ginlabbet Stockholm were awarded a corner. Tomas Hedkvist went to the cornerflag to take it. At last the ball reached Bruno Montrel at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Melchester Rovers. 3-1. In the 43rd minute Bruno Montrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Westerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronny Westerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Montrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Åke Sandström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Meck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Ronny Westerberg came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Ginlabbet Stockholm's Dragan Numanović. But to his dismay, Dragan Numanović quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. After a rather tough play, Ginlabbet Stockholm's Kristian Neteland got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Mårten Abrahamsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Sandström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bruno Montrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th match minute, Ginlabbet Stockholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristian Neteland to maneuver through the defense. Hans Svensson, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ronny Westerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Montrel in the 63rd minute of the match. Karl-Åke Sandström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mårten Abrahamsson in the 65th minute of play. Ronny Westerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Apelquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Ginlabbet Stockholm's Duarte Novaes was substituted for Tomas Hedkvist. Ginlabbet Stockholm's Március Péntek was substituted for Dragan Numanović. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nils-Erik Fagrell in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronny Westerberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 85 minutes, Ian Ekenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melchester Rovers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ian Ekenberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Március Péntek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Montrel struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Ronny Westerberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ginlabbet Stockholm. Sven-Olof Ålberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronny Westerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Március Péntek, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Ginlabbet Stockholm's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
