An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Barck in the 4th minute of play forced Melchester Rovers's goalkeeper Ronny Westerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th match minute, Melchester Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Ekenberg to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Norrlands Hjältar BK's Mats Wennerqvist tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 12th match minute, Norrlands Hjältar BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitor Zurita to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Norrlands Hjältar BK's zone, Mikael Meck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustin Cejas came out of the goal and Mikael Meck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronny Westerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niklas Barck, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. A collision led to Melchester Rovers getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Mårten Abrahamsson hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the game, Vitor Zurita lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Ronny Westerberg. Ronny Westerberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vitor Zurita in the 28th minute. After 34 played minutes Melchester Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Brian Strömberg. Agustin Cejas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mårten Abrahamsson in the 39th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Ernst Strömbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 minutes of play, Melchester Rovers's Mikael Meck made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Agustin Cejas was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mikael Meck made a kick off. Agustin Cejas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mårten Abrahamsson in the 51st minute. Alexander Häll charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Häll the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alexander Häll kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Agustin Cejas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Vikström, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. When Melchester Rovers's Mikael Meck in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Norrlands Hjältar BK's goalie prevented a goal. Ronny Westerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niklas Barck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ian Ekenberg hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Niklas Barck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ronny Westerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustin Cejas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mikael Meck showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 90 minute of play. Mikael Meck struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Agustin Cejas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melchester Rovers. When Stig Vikström fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Melchester Rovers's protests and gave Stig Vikström a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Melchester Rovers getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Stig Vikström hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Melchester Rovers had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
