Sverker Biörkquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Adam Fagrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute Wen Ning Peng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Emil Askstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Dividing By Zero FC booed when Arktis BoIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Candeias didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Arktis BoIS's goal looked a bit too open when Sixtus Skottfelt came free, but Nils-Emil Askstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wen Ning Peng to make the kick off.
