Skogsgymnastikens IBS were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Svärdsjö RK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sam Vandamme took the corner. The corner ended in Sam Vandamme almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Svärdsjö RK's Alexander Pilberg did a great save. Jens-Ove Back showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Soned in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, Svärdsjö RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niklas Offendahl to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute of the match Svärdsjö RK got a corner. Skogsgymnastikens IBS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Johan Skoglund ran over to the corner to take the kick. Svärdsjö RK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Johan Skoglund in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute John Njurenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ove Back saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute of the match, Gustav Dusett got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alexander Pilberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Edinson Cavani came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Skogsgymnastikens IBS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edinson Cavani couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Skogsgymnastikens IBS's Edinson Cavani dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Soned in the 40th minute of play forced Skogsgymnastikens IBS's goalkeeper Jens-Ove Back to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Leo Soned notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Skogsgymnastikens IBS's Jens-Ove Back. Jens-Ove Back was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 43 minutes into the match, Skogsgymnastikens IBS's Edinson Cavani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexander Pilberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Svärdsjö RK's Alexander Pilberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edinson Cavani in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute Edinson Cavani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Pilberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kjell Jespersson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Axel Arhenius hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Alexander Pilberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustav Dusett went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edinson Cavani in the 55th minute of play forced Svärdsjö RK's goalkeeper Alexander Pilberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Svärdsjö RK defense, Edinson Cavani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexander Pilberg. The Svärdsjö RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexander Pilberg should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edinson Cavani in the 62nd minute of play forced Svärdsjö RK's goalkeeper Alexander Pilberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Edinson Cavani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexander Pilberg. Svärdsjö RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edinson Cavani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edinson Cavani in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Pilberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. John Njurenius was extremely unlucky when he, in the 74th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 77th minute, Svärdsjö RK's John Njurenius dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-3. Jens-Ove Back took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Njurenius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edinson Cavani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexander Pilberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Jens-Ove Back showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Njurenius, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. If Qiao Lei Quan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Skogsgymnastikens IBS's goalkeeper Jens-Ove Back had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erland Ahlström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edinson Cavani in the 90th minute of play forced Svärdsjö RK's goalkeeper Alexander Pilberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edinson Cavani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kjell Jespersson in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Ove Back prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the Svärdsjö RK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Skogsgymnastikens IBS.
