Ola Larsson took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gil Garcia. Gil Garcia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Karl-Johan Pååk kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. A hard shot 25 in the game by Sixten Sjö from a close distance when the talented Detlev Leisibach managed to make a qualified save. Hammarby Hornets BK's players were relieved. Detlev Leisibach stood somewhat misplaced when Sixten Sjö came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 26 minute. In the 29th minute, Cirilo Rufio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gil Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sivert Söder in the 30th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Ola Larsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 played minutes Hammarby Hornets BK got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Lundqvist. Gil Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sivert Söder, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Jonsereds IF's Folke Wahlström got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Folke Wahlström off the ground. Despite being the better team, Hammarby Hornets BK failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
