Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 159) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jarl Apelqvist got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Svärdsjö RK's Kjell Jespersson got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Svärdsjö RK's goalkeeper Alexander Pilberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kjell Jespersson in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Oskar Dahlquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th minute, Thor Ekström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexander Pilberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Alexander Pilberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Svanström in the 16th minute of the match. Alexander Pilberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarl Apelqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The audience was convinced that Kjell Jespersson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Oskar Dahlquist was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 24th minute Svärdsjö RK were awarded a corner. Johan Skoglund went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Johan Skoglund got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sven-Oskar Dahlquist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 35 minutes into the match, Thor Ekström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexander Pilberg. Svärdsjö RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thor Ekström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Thomas Svanström charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas Svanström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 44 minutes into the match, Hammarby Gård's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Jespersson came free, but Sven-Oskar Dahlquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Johan Skoglund got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sven-Oskar Dahlquist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kjell Jespersson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Svärdsjö RK got a freekick which was hit by Axel Arhenius. Erland Ahlström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexander Pilberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarl Apelqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When Svärdsjö RK's Erland Ahlström in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hammarby Gård's goalie prevented a goal. In the 60th minute John Njurenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Oskar Dahlquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Thor Ekström fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 76th minute Svärdsjö RK were awarded a corner. Johan Skoglund went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Svärdsjö RK's corner Johan Skoglund fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sven-Oskar Dahlquist quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hammarby Gård's zone, Erland Ahlström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Oskar Dahlquist came out of the goal and Erland Ahlström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexander Pilberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarl Apelqvist in the 81st minute of play. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hammarby Gård's goalkeeper Sven-Oskar Dahlquist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Orvar Västerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Hammarby Gård's zone, Kjell Jespersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Oskar Dahlquist came out of the goal and Kjell Jespersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st match minute, Hammarby Gård was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thor Ekström to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Hammarby Gård left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Svärdsjö RK.
