In the 27th minute Edinson Cavani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Olofsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Torbjörn Brummer notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Skogsgymnastikens IBS's Jens-Ove Back. Jens-Ove Back was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jens-Ove Back came out of the goal and Pelle Smedfeldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonas Hellqvist was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 55th minute. StraX Xenon FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jens-Ove Back was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Jonas Hellqvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jonas Hellqvist really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Skogsgymnastikens IBS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Torbjörn Brummer scored to the left of an out of position Jens-Ove Back, making the score, 1-6. Jakob Palmkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Jens-Ove Back made a huge save. If Edinson Cavani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over StraX Xenon FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Skogsgymnastikens IBS throughout the match.
