Spectators: 8044 (Terracing: 6034, Seating: 1850, VIP seats: 160) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kjell Jespersson made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd match minute, Svärdsjö RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hubert Olsson to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixten Sjö in the 3rd minute of play forced Svärdsjö RK's goalkeeper Alexander Pilberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Svärdsjö RK's goal looked a bit too open when Sixten Sjö came free, but Alexander Pilberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute of the match, Erland Ahlström got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gil Garcia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sixten Sjö in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Pilberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14thth minute of the game Sixten Sjö who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Svärdsjö RK's Alexander Pilberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Jonsereds IF's Hans Kilstedt got a free kick in the 15th minute. Erland Ahlström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sixten Sjö had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 21 minutes, Sixten Sjö managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jonsereds IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixten Sjö was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sixten Sjö took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexander Pilberg. Alexander Pilberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Jonsereds IF's Sixten Sjö in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Svärdsjö RK's goalie prevented a goal. Hans Kilstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 32nd minute of the match Jonsereds IF got a corner. Svärdsjö RK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ronny Nilsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 33 minutes Svärdsjö RK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ronny Nilsson who took care of the corner kick. Hans Kilstedt made a great header on Jonsereds IF's corner, it was just that Svärdsjö RK's Alexander Pilberg managed to reach the ball for a save. 36 minutes into the game, Svärdsjö RK's Erland Ahlström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gil Garcia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Alexander Pilberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sixten Sjö's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. When Sixten Sjö came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Jonsereds IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixten Sjö couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Jonsereds IF's Hans Kilstedt got a free kick in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sixten Sjö made a kick off. Kjell Jespersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sixten Sjö in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexander Pilberg saved Svärdsjö RK from getting behind. The supporters of Jonsereds IF booed when Svärdsjö RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Arhenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexander Pilberg was a little too slow when Sixten Sjö got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Svärdsjö RK's goalkeeper Alexander Pilberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alexander Pilberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sixten Sjö in the 76th minute. Gil Garcia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kjell Jespersson's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. 91 minutes into the match, Svärdsjö RK's goal looked a bit too open when Sixten Sjö came free, but Alexander Pilberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Jonsereds IF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
