Seating: 1828, VIP seats: 20) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Matthias Ström started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FC Karpathos's zone, Lennart Möller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaroslaw Rakowski came out of the goal and Lennart Möller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 4th match minute, FC Karpathos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Ove Alebäck to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FC Karpathos's Jaroslaw Rakowski got control of the ball when Wiktor Lövkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute Thor Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslaw Rakowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hammarby Gård were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after FC Karpathos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Michael Lindholm took the corner. The corner ended in Michael Lindholm almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Karpathos's Jaroslaw Rakowski did a great save. With his leg Jaroslaw Rakowski managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Hammarby Gård's Jarl Apelqvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jarl Apelqvist in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaroslaw Rakowski saved FC Karpathos from getting behind. Jaroslaw Rakowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarl Apelqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Matthias Ström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jarl Apelqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lennart Möller's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jaroslaw Rakowski firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lennart Möller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Jaroslaw Rakowski made a huge save. Jarl Apelqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaroslaw Rakowski having to interfere. FC Karpathos's Jaroslaw Rakowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save FC Karpathos from getting a goal against them. Thor Ekström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With his leg Jaroslaw Rakowski managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when Hammarby Gård's Jarl Apelqvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jarl Apelqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the FC Karpathos defense, Jarl Apelqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jaroslaw Rakowski. The FC Karpathos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jaroslaw Rakowski should have stopped the shot. After 59 minutes, Patric Lenberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hammarby Gård and the FC Karpathos players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Hammarby Gård getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Patric Lenberg hit a great ball. Jaroslaw Rakowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thor Ekström went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Niclas Fastesson managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Karpathos's supporters rose to their feet, but Niclas Fastesson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Oskar Dahlquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the match, Thomas Svanström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jaroslaw Rakowski. FC Karpathos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomas Svanström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 74 minutes into the game, Lennart Möller cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Jaroslaw Rakowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jaroslaw Rakowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarl Apelqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The audience was convinced that Jarl Apelqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaroslaw Rakowski was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 82nd minute, Viktor Gustavsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Oskar Dahlquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Mikael Gallberg kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The supporters of FC Karpathos booed when Hammarby Gård was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Behram Nevruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Karpathos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hammarby Gård.
