Gil Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ejvind Haversen in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Lars Hernström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sixten Sjö made the kick off in the second half. David Lundgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sixten Sjö's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute Hans Kilstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Lundgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86thth minute of the game Ejvind Haversen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jonsereds IF's Gil Garcia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The throw-in from Harry Tham in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Redbull Sala's Generoso Garcia. 92 minutes into the match, Jonsereds IF's Sixten Sjö sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Lundgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Ronny Nilsson came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Jonsereds IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronny Nilsson couldn't finish the play.
