Hammarby Hornets BK's Sivert Söder got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute Leo Soned shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Detlev Leisibach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ola Larsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 45 minutes into the game, Leo Soned was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Svärdsjö RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hammarby Hornets BK the free kick. After 49 played minutes Svärdsjö RK got a freekick which was hit by Orvar Västerberg. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Hammarby Hornets BK's Sivert Sjöö quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Axel Arhenius, made in the 56th minute of the game. Leo Soned sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. John Njurenius scored 1-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Detlev Leisibach, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexander Pilberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sivert Söder in the 71st minute of play. In the 74thth minute of the game Ola Larsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Svärdsjö RK's Alexander Pilberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Detlev Leisibach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Jespersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Axel Arhenius made in the 80th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Hammarby Hornets BK's Jesper Fridlund. Ola Larsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexander Pilberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ola Larsson ran back to his position shaking his head. When Erland Ahlström came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Svärdsjö RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erland Ahlström couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute of the game Axel Arhenius made a throw-in which John Njurenius played forward. In the 87th minute Svärdsjö RK were awarded a corner. Johan Skoglund went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Johan Skoglund almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hammarby Hornets BK's Detlev Leisibach did a great save. Detlev Leisibach made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Leo Soned sent off a good shot on target. Erland Ahlström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Detlev Leisibach having to interfere. Ola Larsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alexander Pilberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ola Larsson in the 96th minute of the match.
