In the 4th minute Sixten Sjö shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Didi Novaes came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Jonsereds IF's Sixten Sjö. But to his dismay, Sixten Sjö quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 13 played minutes Jonsereds IF got a freekick which was hit by Lars Hernström. Didi Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixten Sjö in the 17th minute of play. August Lundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Garcia having to interfere. Real Grasacticos's Didi Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixten Sjö in the 20th minute of play. Sixten Sjö struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Didi Novaes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jonsereds IF. Gil Garcia made an important save on a dangerous shot by August Lundberg in the 35th minute. If Sixten Sjö had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Kilstedt in the 43rd minute of play forced Real Grasacticos's goalkeeper Didi Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sixten Sjö to make the kick off. Real Grasacticos's Didi Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Kilstedt in the 51st minute of play. After 53 played minutes Jonsereds IF got a freekick which was hit by Folke Wahlström. After a rather tough play, Real Grasacticos's Ingmar Petersson got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 64th minute Sixten Sjö shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Real Grasacticos booed when Jonsereds IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Kilstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. August Lundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Real Grasacticos booed when Jonsereds IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Kilstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arvid Qvarnström's late challenge caught a Real Grasacticos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arvid Qvarnström helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Jonsereds IF getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Arvid Qvarnström hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Nässén in the 75th minute of play forced Jonsereds IF's goalkeeper Gil Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gil Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from August Lundberg in the 83rd minute of play. Didi Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Kilstedt in the 84th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Sixten Sjö managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jonsereds IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixten Sjö was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Didi Novaes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute of the match, Hans Kilstedt tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Didi Novaes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 94th minute, Arvid Qvarnström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Real Grasacticos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jonsereds IF's performance. The match ended with a win for Jonsereds IF.
