The Hammarby Hornets BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Detlev Leisibach should have stopped the shot. Skogsgymnastikens IBS's Jens-Ove Back proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Skogsgymnastikens IBS from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Skogsgymnastikens IBS defense, Ola Larsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jens-Ove Back. The Skogsgymnastikens IBS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jens-Ove Back should have stopped the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Folke Hermansson in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Skogsgymnastikens IBS's Johan Björling. Gustav Dusett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Detlev Leisibach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edinson Cavani, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 38th play minute Anton Ekgren came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jens-Ove Back. 3-1. Detlev Leisibach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edinson Cavani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sivert Söder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Detlev Leisibach was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edinson Cavani showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 55 minute of play. Hammarby Hornets BK's Detlev Leisibach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Hammarby Hornets BK from getting a goal against them. Qiao Lei Quan hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, Skogsgymnastikens IBS's Qiao Lei Quan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Detlev Leisibach narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87thth minute of the game Sivert Söder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skogsgymnastikens IBS's Jens-Ove Back was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Hammarby Hornets BK's Folke Hermansson got a free kick in the 87th minute. Hammarby Hornets BK's Detlev Leisibach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edinson Cavani in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes in the game, Johan Björling fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Detlev Leisibach having to interfere. Edinson Cavani's late challenge caught a Hammarby Hornets BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edinson Cavani helped the player get up and apologised. Edinson Cavani kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
