The supporters of AC United booed when SlasHasarnas BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antal Gelencsér didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robin Holmgren got free with Anaia Jurado in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

A collision led to SlasHasarnas BK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Bo Hansson hit a great ball. When Max Jonasson came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the SlasHasarnas BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Max Jonasson couldn't finish the play. SlasHasarnas BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Lindman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. AC United's Arne Alén was substituted for Orvar Fribäck. AC United were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after SlasHasarnas BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arne Alén took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Robin Holmgren got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-1. 85 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. AC United fully deserved thier win.
