The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fang Xing Ang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5th minute Max Mohammad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fang Xing Ang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Newcastle United FC booed when Rossoneri XI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Winford McGraw didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Newcastle United FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Karl Rosendahl hit a great ball. Oden Torsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fang Xing Ang didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Max Mohammad went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Rossoneri XI's Winford McGraw got a free kick in the 22nd minute. When Newcastle United FC's Lars Olofsson in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rossoneri XI's goalie prevented a goal. In the 24th minute, Uno Deckbergh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the game, Newcastle United FC's Nichifor Crivoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fang Xing Ang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Fang Xing Ang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Mohammad, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Otto Hermansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Özdilek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Rossoneri XI's goal looked a bit too open when Max Mohammad came free, but Fang Xing Ang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 played minutes Rossoneri XI got a freekick which was hit by Winford McGraw. Fang Xing Ang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Max Mohammad's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After 36 minutes of play, Newcastle United FC's Claes Ahlroht made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fang Xing Ang was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Mohammad in the 40th minute of play forced Rossoneri XI's goalkeeper Fang Xing Ang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Max Mohammad struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Fang Xing Ang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newcastle United FC. 44 minutes into the match, Rossoneri XI's goal looked a bit too open when Max Mohammad came free, but Fang Xing Ang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Newcastle United FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Rossoneri XI's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Lars Olofsson scored to the left of an out of position Fang Xing Ang, making the score, 0-4. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rossoneri XI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nichifor Crivoi was slow to take the kick. During this time Newcastle United FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Newcastle United FC's corner Nichifor Crivoi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fang Xing Ang quite easily take care of the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Newcastle United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Özdilek came free, but Otto Hermansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The long shot by Nichifor Crivoi in the 67th minute really tested Fang Xing Ang's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 70 minutes into the match, Lars Olofsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fang Xing Ang, 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florian Liermann got free with Fang Xing Ang in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lars Olofsson hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Silverio Teijeiro's late challenge caught a Rossoneri XI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silverio Teijeiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd match minute, Newcastle United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Teijeiro to maneuver through the defense.
