Skövde AIK's Olov Wahlnäs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bror Sander in the 12th minute of play. Chen Ao Fan hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Tierp FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Williams came free, but Arne Gustafsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chen Ao Fan in the 25th minute of play forced Tierp FC's goalkeeper Arne Gustafsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Kevin Keegan notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Tierp FC's Arne Gustafsson. Arne Gustafsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 30 minutes into the match, Kevin Keegan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arne Gustafsson, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Bergfeldt in the 33rd minute of play forced Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Olov Wahlnäs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Skövde AIK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. 45 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Oskar Bergfeldt came free, but Olov Wahlnäs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute Oskar Bergfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Wahlnäs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chen Ao Fan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Chen Ao Fan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chen Ao Fan might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arne Gustafsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chen Ao Fan ran back to his position shaking his head. 57 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's Chen Ao Fan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arne Gustafsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Olov Wahlnäs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elia Serra in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chen Ao Fan in the 65th minute of play forced Tierp FC's goalkeeper Arne Gustafsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Tierp FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Bror Sander hit a great ball. In the 71st minute Chen Ao Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Gustafsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 78th minute of the game was made by Manuel Arósio with Şafak İklim as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Tierp FC's Asi Nodal got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olov Wahlnäs made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Asi Nodal sent off a good shot on target. Chen Ao Fan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 83 minutes into the match, Tierp FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chen Ao Fan came free, but Arne Gustafsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Chen Ao Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Gustafsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Many of Tierp FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Tierp FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Skövde AIK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
