Su Peng Jian made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Isak Andberg sent off a good shot on target. Vitaliy van der Aa charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vitaliy van der Aa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fortuna Grimsta IF's Sonny Grep was substituted for Niklas Lindfors. Vitaliy van der Aa kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Ted Linberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, GrassNuts FC's Su Peng Jian got control of the ball when Isak Andberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ted Linberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitaliy van der Aa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, GrassNuts FC's goalkeeper Su Peng Jian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isak Andberg. Su Peng Jian came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Fortuna Grimsta IF's Alvaro Laurenti. But to his dismay, Alvaro Laurenti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ted Linberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitaliy van der Aa in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vitaliy van der Aa was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Fortuna Grimsta IF's goal looked a bit too open when Vitaliy van der Aa came free, but Ted Linberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vitaliy van der Aa in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ted Linberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. GrassNuts FC were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Fortuna Grimsta IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pierre-Emile Højbjerg took the corner. 60 minutes into the match, Fortuna Grimsta IF's goalkeeper Ted Linberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pierre-Emile Højbjerg. Ted Linberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernt Finnman, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute.
