In the 22nd minute, Ulf Finsberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herman Häll was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. AC Perugia Calcio's Brede Bonk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryan Chai in the 28th minute of play. If Anier Oinatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the game, Brommapojkarna BK's Alfred Esbjörnsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brede Bonk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Brede Bonk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Chai in the 36th minute of play. Brede Bonk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anier Oinatz's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. With his leg Brede Bonk managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Brommapojkarna BK's Anier Oinatz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Herman Häll stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benediktas Kučinskas's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bogdan Markowski during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

The tension between the Brommapojkarna BK and the AC Perugia Calcio players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Brommapojkarna BK's Herman Häll got control of the ball when Lukas Bambas tried to sneak it across the goal line. AC Perugia Calcio's Brede Bonk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rune Larsson in the 82nd minute of play. Brommapojkarna BK were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after AC Perugia Calcio's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fredrik Julin took the corner. Gustaf Östlund went to the cornerflag to take it. When the final whistle sounded AC Perugia Calcio left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Brommapojkarna BK.
